  • Invest a great deal of time and energy into further developing it
  • Cooperate with us in involving the right competences in your business

It is our experience that the entrepreneur and the team intended to lead the business idea to success are at least as important as the business idea itself.

Before you contact us

We are approached with a great number of ideas. Therefore we request that you consider the following questions thoroughly when describing your business idea. This gives us a clear impression of the potential in your idea, allowing us to process your enquiry in the best way possible.

  • Have you already established a company? In that case, what is the revenue and how many employees does the company have?
  • Do you have all the rights (IPR) for the project?
  • Is the company registered in or intended to be registered in Denmark?
  • Is the project idea innovative compared to what currently exists in the market?
  • What will you invest in the project yourself, and are there any other investors?

We use these questions to assert whether your project satisfies the formal requirements to be considered for a possible investment from CAPNOVA. If the formal criteria above are fulfilled, we evaluate the commercial and job-creating perspectives of the project.

For this purpose we need a description of your business idea, which as a starting point contains your answers to the follow questions:

  • Which tangible development activities must be undertaken on the path towards commercialization?
  • Who are the target audience and the customers?
  • Which problem does your product or service solve convincingly, and who are the competitors?
  • What are the business model and the source of income?
  • What is the go-to-market strategy?
  • Have you entered relevant partnerships with regard to development, sales/distribution and funding?
  • Who make up the team that will realize the project?
  • What is the state of the budget? Capital and funding needs, valuation, break-even and revenues
