Aros Applied Biotechnology has developed competent and innovative testing technology for the pharmaceutical industry. Using a small chip, Aros Applied Biotechnology examines the activity and reaction of genes – e.g. by a drug tested on animals, where the effect of the drug on individual organs is clarified.
The company was founded in 2000 and originated from the research community at Aarhus University.
Aros Applied Biotechnology’s customer list includes major Danish and international pharmaceutical companies and major European research institutions.
In 2013, the international laboratory group Eurofins acquired the company.
