Online queue system with more than two billion users.
Queue-it has developed an online queue system that can be used to manage ticket sales at major events. Their system ensures ‘queue behavior’ on the web by offering a virtual waiting room, which alleviates pressured IT systems and gives customers a fair treatment.
The company was founded in 2010 and CAPNOVA invested in the company that same year. CAPNOVA sold its shares in 2013.
More than two billion customers have been through Queue-its online queue system, and the company has customers from all over the world. The customer list includes Skat (tax authority of Denmark), Microsoft, the Carnegie Hall Concert Hall and the Royal Opera House in London.
In addition to an office in Copenhagen, Queue-it opened a branch in the US in 2017, where the company has approx. one-third of its customers.
At the end of 2017, the company had 43 employees.
In 2020, the founders sold the company to the Danish capital fund GRO Capital for a three-digit million amount.
